Description
The Blue Angel and Dr Wiedermann's Orchestra are the finest and only exponents of Brechtian and Weillian music styles. Their music has elements of German rockabilly mixed with cabaret and influences include klezmer, jazz, folk and blues. All this is combined with characters and songs that trace their lives as musicians and performers in Weimar Berlin. They continue to live in current times in a nether world state as spirits.
Comical and philosophical, the Blue Angel and Dr Wiedemann's Orchestra are ethereal characters embedded in the bygone Weimar era.
